Augmented Reality ist ja für einige noch wenig greifbar. Das Museum of London macht damit nun Zeitreisen per Handy möglich.

Historisches London auf dem iPhone

Das nenn ich mal innovativ: Das Musuem of London hat eine iPhone-App auf den Markt gebracht, die das Museum unter den freien Himmel bringt.

Eigentlich muss man dazu gar nicht viel erklären (Gizmodo tut's trotzdem): Mittels GPS und Kompass kann man sich Bilder des historischen London vor Ort per iPhone-Kamera auf dem realen Stadtbild anzeigen lassen. Großartig.

Ach ja. Die App ist kostenlos.

Fehlt nur noch, dass Google demnächst den weltweiten Roulout ("Google Historic Street View") verkündet.
